Liverpool Arab Arts Festival celebrate 20 years of bringing Arabic music, theatre, art, dance and film to Merseyside. Growing from a tiny event at the Bluecoat to the UK’s biggest celebration of Arab arts and culture, LAAF now runs for a whopping 10 days across multiple venues.
Always pushing for ground-breaking bookings and attempting to give a little flavour of the diverse and vibrant Arab cultures, LAAF showcases artists from all walks of life. This year welcomes Emel Mathlouthi, Bachar Zarkan, 47SOUL, TootArd, U-Cef and the London Syrian Ensemble to the city, as well as UK premiers of documentary films, contemporary dance performances and cutting-edge digital theatre.
