Celebrating the vibrancy and diversity that the area is now famous for, the Weekender will be taking place within a number of the Baltic Triangle’s most coveted warehouses. With both live acts and DJs heading to Merseyside for all three days of the event, the weekend is set to invite some of the “finest names either clubbing institution has ever hosted.” The weekend will culminate at 24 Kitchen St. with an intimate Sunday night party.
Celebrating their 7th birthday as part of the Weekender, Abandon Silence will be curating the finest in house, techno and disco on the Main Stage. Not to be outdone, 24 Kitchen Street will also be bringing some incredible talent to the city with their parties, The Wonder Pot and Hot Plate, hosting stages across the weekend with an esoteric mix of music.
“The Baltic Weekender is something that ourselves and the 24 Kitchen Street team have discussed for a few years now, and after all of the attacks that our culture has come under in recent months, we thought that 2017 was the perfect time to go ahead with our plans and really make a statement to the city that we are worth something. Our stage features the strongest three days of talent we have ever presented as Abandon Silence; we cannot wait to reveal all in a few weeks time.” (Andrew Hill, Abandon Silence)
