(ALTERNATIVE) Decay + Safeguard & Supports at EBGBS
|Date:||26th January 2019|
|Address:||80-82 Seel Street L1 4BH Liverpool|
An amazing event hosted by Halfway Home Promotions!
Decay and Safeguard play EBGBS in Liverpool on Saturday the 26th January as part of their run of dates together. They are joined by Safest Spaces – who have proven themselves to be fan favourites in Liverpool over the past year, and Crossroads UK playing new material at their first show for over 6 months!
Having grown significantly from their start as a band under the name ‘Pine’, Decay have developed a sound that finds an intersection between that of Basement and Title Fight. Decay are set to debut some incredible new music in 2019 having spent significant time in the studio working with producer Bob Cooper (who has previously worked with post-hardcore band Citizen amongst other notable bands) in the latter half of last year.
Off the back of a successful 2018 and the December release of their latest single ‘Severance’, 5-piece Safeguard are an emo/pop-punk band from York delivering introspective, guitar heavy songs for their growing following that spreads all across the alternatives scenes around the whole of northwest and northeast of England.
Making waves as fan favourites in Liverpool’s alternative music scene, this duet made up of Jake and Dru perform semi-acoustic emo punk that explores topics of mental health, failing relationships and self image. They worked tirelessly last year playing shows up and down the country, from London to Leeds off the back of their most recent EP ‘Split’ which was a collaboration with Callum Kerrigan.
Returning from a 6 month hiatus this Liverpool based 3-piece are excited to debut all new material; bringing with them their own brand of emo infused pop-punk that they’ve been working hard to refine. Playing shows in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and beyond in early 2018 before their hiatus has made the return of this band widely anticipated across the local alternative scene.
