Melodic Distraction Winter Party

Written by on 6th December 2016

In a year that saw us celebrate our 1st birthday with Max Graef at the historic Williamson Tunnels, bring Damiano von Erckert back to town and most recently welcome the legendary Dego and Canadian newcomer, Jayda G: we thought it only right to close out a great 12 months with a performance from a true master: an artist whose music has had an abounding impact on the entire culture of Melodic Distraction…

We also want to take this chance to shout out to our residents. Without these guys, Melodic Distraction would never have become the community as we know it today. Accordingly, we are switching things up; our homies Nick Wood & Nathan Bailey will be CLOSING the warehouse this time around! We also have for the first time this year, our full team of residents lined-up for this party including Piers GarrettLuke BartlettMatthew Brundell and not to mention Gottwood Festival‘s finest Toby O’Connor taking control of both floors.

For everyone in attendance of last year’s winter party, we’re sure you know we love those mulled wines and ciders. In addition, we will once again be styling the venue out with as much festive shit as we possibly can – hopefully topping last year’s christmas tree furnished dancefloor. And have no fear…the garden will be open and in full swing as always.

Knowledgeable beyond his years, ∆dmin dedicates much of his time to listening. From Chicago to Berlin, he draws his musical influences carefully. In what we can only characteris as a truly impatient and disposable era that we now live in, ∆dmin is a refreshing reminder that we can still build a path in music at our own pace, as he respectably invests into his own, soulful, astral and progressive productions.

With releases on Future BoogieKolour LTD & Undertones, Omena Records and Sleazy Beats Recordings∆dmin‘s discography cannot be pigeon-holed by genre or trend. Ever-vibrant, his work consistantly challenges convention whilst remaining accessible to anybody who just wants to get down and dance!
