Good For The Soul (January ’18)

Toby Taylor [Native Tongues Special]

Good For The Soul is just that – a carefree jaunt through all things groovy to distract you from the daily grind.

Hosted by Toby Taylor, music writer and self-proclaimed disco fanatic, Good For The Soul features soothing selections from across the world – if it makes you feel good, chances are you’ll hear it here.

This time around Toby gives us a run through of all things Native Tongues. The hip-hop collective that arose in the late 80’s have left a permanent mark on music culture as we know it today, with samples and afrocentric lyrics a key aspect to their output.
