Madra Rua (November ’20)
One of our closest and dearest friends, Jack Rogers aka Flossy, steps up to provide us with a monthly show shining a light on the sounds that encompass his eclectic tastes.
Jack has brought some hefty names to the Liverpool scene over the last few years including the likes of Crazy P, Auntie Flo and Andrew Ashong. More recently, he’s become a proud father of meraki, a hot n happenin’ rave space on the North Docks.
He continues to use his new show, Madra Rua (which is Gaelic for ‘Red Dog’ or ‘Fox’), to showcase the talent coming through its doors, which over the years has included big names like Mount Kimbie, OR:LA and Moodymann.
This month, our favourite red fox plays at our temporary home on Seel Street for the first time. A gentle start of worldly sounds makes way for breaks and UK left-field techno; featuring new music from Laksa, DJ Plead and Etch.
