Spaced Out (April ’20)

Chris Barker

Chris Barker gets deep, weird and wonky with Spaced Out on Melodic Distraction. One half of Deep Space Orchestra, Chris brings a progressive sound to the airwaves.

A producer under the moniker Haku, Chris Barker uploaded a track online every week of 2017, all available to purchase through his Bandcamp. With releases on InBeatWeen, Delusions of Grandeur and Talahachi, this sort of focus and drive is highlighted in his track selection and good chat on Spaced Out, an opportunity for him to experiment through radio.

This month Chris records from the safety of his own home, turning in a quality two hours packed to the rafters with eclectic jazz, ambient & electronica  all lovingly interspersed with his usual good wit and charm.
