Inspired by his heavy influences in the jazz scene, Riccardo Masi aka Reekee, is making a name for himself in the jazz infused house scene. His most recent self-release was premiered by Stamp The Wax earlier this month showcasing his newly formed imprint, Wrong Note Records.
News of his next release on Uzuri, featuring edits by Glenn Underground, along with his recently announced collab E.P. with Latin Soul Brothas has got us all excited. Expect big things…
The Italian producer draws warmness from every corner of his tracks – reminding us of other upcoming producers such as Funkyjaws and Four Walls from Belarus. Together, these guys are combining live instrumentation with electronic production to unleash an extremely dynamic style of making music.
